Services and studio policies

We keep our creative process as simple and organized as possible so everyone knows what to expect.

  • When you book a custom service such as a brand package Instagram refresh or website project we will usually confirm details in writing through email a proposal or an intake form. This will include
    • what is included in the service
    • the timeline and communication style
    • the investment and payment schedule

    Please review everything carefully before saying yes. Once you accept and make your first payment the project is considered active.

  • We understand life can be a lot. If you need to shift a start date or pause a project
    • email us as soon as you can
    • we will do our best to adjust the schedule

    If a project is inactive for more than thirty days because we are waiting on feedback content or approvals from you we may close the project and charge a restart fee if you wish to pick it up again later. This is simply to protect studio time and keep workloads realistic.

  • Most project communication happens through email and shared documents. We ask that you
    • respond within the time frames outlined in your proposal
    • keep all project related communication inside the channels we have agreed on

    Fast clean communication keeps your project moving and helps you get the best possible result.

Digital products and instant downloads

The Modern Brandist sells digital products such as templates workbooks client forms and guides. These are delivered through instant download or email.

  • For instant download items
    • once your payment is processed you will receive a link to download your files
    • you are responsible for saving backups to your device or cloud storage

    For products that require customization
    • delivery will occur within twelve to twenty four hours
    • we will send your completed files to the email you provided at checkout
    • turnaround expectations will always be explained on the product page

    If you have trouble accessing anything please email us with your order details so we can help.

  • Because digital items are delivered immediately or prepared quickly and can be saved and copied all digital product sales are final.

    We may offer a store credit in limited situations such as
    • duplicate purchases of the same item
    • technical issues on our side that prevent delivery

    If something seems incorrect contact us within seven days of purchase along with your name email and order number.

  • When you purchase a digital product you receive a license for your own business use only. You do not own the design or intellectual property itself.

    You agree that you will not
    • resell share or distribute the files
    • claim the design as original work created by you
    • use the files in any way that directly competes with The Modern Brandist

    You are welcome to
    • change colors fonts images and text
    • use the assets inside your business and with your own clients
    • customize the product to match your brand

Payments and billing

We currently accept payments through our online checkout and approved third party processors. By completing a purchase you confirm that
• you are authorized to use the payment method provided
• all information you submit is accurate and current

If a payment does not process successfully we may pause access to your digital product or custom service until the issue is resolved.

Certain custom services may offer payment plans. All dates and amounts will be clearly outlined in your proposal. Late or missed payments may pause your project or delay delivery until everything is up to date.

Cancellations and refunds for services

Custom creative work involves time planning brand research and personalized production. Because of this service payments are considered non refundable once work has begun.

If you need to cancel before any work has started
• a portion of your initial payment may be kept to cover administrative and booking time

If you ever feel unsure about the direction of your project please reach out early. We will always do our best to
• adjust within the original scope

• offer solutions that support your goals

Our priority is making sure you feel taken care of at every step.

Project timelines and communication

We believe smooth communication creates the best experience and the strongest final product.

During the course of your project we may rely on

You agree to respond within the time frames listed in your proposal so your project can stay on schedule.

If a project becomes inactive for more than thirty days due to missing feedback materials or approvals we may close the project. A restart fee may apply if you choose to continue at a later date.

Your responsibilities as a client or site visitor

To keep this a safe respectful and functional space you agree that
• all information and content you share with us is accurate and belongs to you
• you will not upload or submit anything harmful offensive or unlawful
• you will use our site and resources only for their intended purposes

You also agree not to
• copy or interfere with the site

We may remove access or decline service if someone is acting in a way that is abusive harmful or clearly in violation of these guidelines.
